LG GHD30 Specifications:
- Height: 21.25 inches
- Width: 15.16 inches
- Depth: 13.38 inches
- Bucket Capacity: 30 Pints
- Warranty: 1 year
The LG GHD30 dehumidifier has a 30-pint capacity, which means it can remove up to 30 pints of water per day from the air.
The control panel on top of the front has a humidity control on a round knob and a two-speed fan switch. The humidity control which is also called humidistat has really works well. The automatic shut off feature turns the unit off automatically when the bucket is full, or when the bucket is removed or not replaced properly.
Unlike other dehumidifiers, the drip bucket can be easily
removed from the front of the unit. The drip bucket has an integrated carrying handle to make it easy to hold. Similarly, the air filter is on the front of the LG GHD30, and it can be pulled out only when the drip bucket has been removed.
Compared to the other dehumidifiers in the market that have a hose fitting on the drip bucket, LG GHD30 has a different set-up. It comes with a long hard plastic hose fitting that presses into a hole about midway up on the back. It works fine for continuous operation, its just that it is unusual that the fitting would be so high up on the unit.
Finally, the GoldStar GHD30 blows air through itself in the opposite direction from other dehumidifiers. All other dehumidifiers blow air from back-to-front. The GHD30 blows air from front-to-back. This doesn’t affect the usage of the unit but it might be important for each owner’s operation.
