Haier HD456 Mechanical Dehumidifier is energy efficient, this unit helps you save money and protect the environment at the same time.  It sucks out moisture from the air effectively at a lower cost.

Haier HD456 features electronic controls and the LED display shows humidity and temperature.  It has an extra large 25 pint bucket with handle for easy carrying.  It has a 12 hour on and off timer.  It runs a low temperature operation down to 41 degrees Fahrenheit. 

The pre-drilled drain connects with 3 feet water hose that is also included.  It has automatic humidistat control and auto defrost that prevents ice formation on the coil.  It features a front water bucket for easy access.  It has easy roll casters for effortless and convenient mobility.  The washable filter can also be easily accessed.  The bucket full indicator light lets you know when the bucket is already full and needs to be emptied. 

Apparently, more customers are disappointed in this humidifier than those who were happy.  The upset users all had one problem, the unit broke down only after a few weeks of use.  To make things worse, the replacement units turned out the same way – it broke with just minimal use. 

The Haier HD456 Mechanical Dehumidifier model may be inexpensive compared to other brands probably because it has poor quality and the manufacturer did not focus that much on durability.  If quality will suffer, it is better to pay a few extra bucks.  At least you are sure that even if you paid more, the unit is durable and will endure the test of time.
